The RBU-27 SE is a five-stage backup consisting of one heating stage having two heat zones, three cooling stages, and one cool pad stage. The RBU-27 SE can be expanded to include up to four heaters, four cool pads and 16 fans. The unique design provides greater control in choosing the ventilation method, testing equipment and emergency climate control.

The RBU-27 SE takes over basic operations and sends out alarms when:

• A general controller failure occurs; in this case, the RBU-27 SE functions at the current operating temperature.
• House temperatures readings are higher than the thermostat settings
